Introduction of circular models in "RUBBER SEALANT PLANT" AD by putting into regular operation:

Grinding installation - 1 pc.
and
Hydraulic press for vulcanizing rubber -- 1 pc.

in implementation of project/contract No. BG-RRP-3.008-0117-C01 under procedure BG-RRP-3.008 "Support for the transition to a circular economy".

By December 2025, "RUBBER SEALANT PLANT" AD successfully completed project No. BG-RRP-3.008-0117-C01 "Support for the transition to a circular economy".

Overall objective of the project: The main objective of the investment proposal is to contribute to accelerating the transition to a circular economy, by introducing circular resource use models and implementing climate-neutral methods and technologies for the production and consumption of the company's products, which main objective directly corresponds to the objectives of the "Economic Transformation Program" (ETP) under the "Smart Industry" component of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP).

Results of project support:
Acquisition of new technologies for the introduction of the following circular models:

• Reduction of waste generation;
• Limiting the use of single-use plastic products;
• Use of resources of biological origin.

With the introduction of the new machines into operation, the following results are achieved:

• Reduction of waste generation from the production of sealants by 50 tons/year;
• Using 100% of the generated waste in the form of raw material in the production of rubber sheets;
• Limiting the use of single-use plastic products by preventing the generation of PP and PE packaging waste;
• Limiting the use of 150 pcs. packaging/year weighing 2,090 kg/pcs. single-use plastic products;
• Preventing the generation of waste from single-use PP and PE packaging weighing 313 kg/year;
• Preventing the use of 5 tons/year of raw materials of synthetic origin by replacing them with raw materials of biological (plant) origin;
• Replacing 10% of synthetic raw materials with those of biological origin.
